HOW TO HAVE FEEL-GOOD MORNINGS!

  • Have a warm beverage, enjoying each sip of it and being aware of the smell and how it tastes. Do not do anything else while you are drinking your first cup of coffee in the morning.

  • Move your body consider a short walk in the morning is a great way to get the body moving HAVE FUN WITH THIS ONE!

  • Breathe and meditate- focus on your breathing and start being in tune and connected with your body.

  • Begin to relax and calm your mind. Meditate and read some positive affirmations

  • Do not take your stress/worries from yesterday into your new day.

  • For every cup of coffee or tea you have drink a cup or bottle of water. This way you will stay hydrated while you are drinking coffee.

  • Tune into your body and give your body what it needs.

  • Give yourself time in the morning to take care of yourself.

  • Set an intention for your morning and an intention for your day.

  • Journal- What is on your mind? do you need to let go of any worries? do you need to forgive yourself or anyone?

  • Think about what you are most grateful for today. What are they and write them down.

  • Be kind to yourself regarding the words you are saying to yourself Notice if you are saying positive words and phrases to yourself.

  • Begin to fuel your body with water in the morning. I usually drink a bottle of water before I have my first cup of coffee.

  • Spend time in prayer in the morning and consider reading some positive affirmations.

  • Have something you would enjoy for breakfast. Remember to be mindful of what you are putting into your body so that it is something which will have you energized to begin the day.

  • Make a list of manageable tasks which you want to accomplish for the day. Write down one fun and joyful thing you really want to implement in your day.

  • Consider having a morning self-care routine. Put on a feel-good outfit for your day.

  • STRETCH- Notice if you feel any tension in your body and tune into the stress and allow yourself to let go of what you are holding on to.

  • Remember you have the ability to feel good in the mornings and use this motivation and positive energy for the rest of your day.

  • Schedule breaks into your day and allow yourself to feel-good about taking these breaks.

  • Do not get on technology when you first wake up in the morning.

  • Take a warm shower or hot bath.

  • Spend time in the morning reading something you would love reading. I have been keeping my books right by my bed :)
